Wait For It...

Photo 201-203: I couldn't resist posting more of my afternoon at the doggie park. Here is an action sequence I love. This is the same dog who looked like he was being overpowered by the black lab. Not so much... He kept waiting for dogs to come near, and then initiated an outright pounce attack. The dogs weren't amused, but the people couldn't stop watching. lol Little bugger!

GULP!

Photo 200: I can't believe it, but I finally reached my 200th picture! YEAH!!! Granted, I'm a little behind, but I'm trying to catch up. I kept debating what my milestone picture would be today, and I just had to pick this one. Every time I look at it, it cracks me up, the puppy's face is just priceless. You can just see the uncertainty and mistrust in his eyes... it's hilarious. He's almost saying, "Excuse me, uh, what are you doing? Gulp!" What you don't see is how three seconds later, he dog-handled the black dog into the ground, and then chased him all over the doggie park. Go figure! Hope you love it as much as I do.

A Man's Best Friend - Part Deux

Photo 113-114: I seem to photograph a lot of dogs lately, but these two pictures just make me laugh out loud. The first picture is of a very cute, energetic little dog I saw running around outside the Brooklyn Museum. He took a rest for a few seconds, tail up and ear alert, but then flew across the grass again to harass a little boy playing with a baseball.

The second picture just amuses me. The little boy is my friend's son, and he loves to pet and hug the dog. The look of sheer terror on the dog's face is priceless. And honest to God, the dog enjoys Nael's attention, he is just very, very old, so fears clumsy little hands.

A Man's Best Friend

Photo 70-71: My uncle has a new dog, Leo, and he's filled with spunk, energy and acts like a one-year old dog should - with more enthusiasm than you know what to do with. He is absolutely adorable, and quite the show dog as well. But it doesn't take fancy toys to amuse Leo, he's happy with an empty water bottle and a backyard. My nephew, who's 18, and him had quite the fun afternoon on Saturday, and as you can see, they bonded quickly over a game of fetch.
