Ciao Beach Amore!

Photo 323 - 324: I'm back in NYC missing FL already. Here are a few night shots we captured strolling around on Hallandale Beach. And let me just add that if I EVER tell anyone that carrying around a tripod is too much work... hit me. Seriously! This was another instance where I really should have had my nifty - yes I said nifty - tripod with me, because finding a flat and stable surface on a beach that lets you capture the perfect shot isn't always the easiest thing to do. Hm... reminds me of my aggravation at Luxor Temple in Egypt. No tripod either! I sense a trend here. lol

You did a beautiful job with these EVEN without a tripod!.....

and in answer to your question, the project is going ok I guess.....Half way there and im hittin a big wall......Im shooting everyday, but the uploading has lost its appeal..simply not enough hours inthe day..so im down to uploading all seven shots for the week on the weekend....Just between you and I, Ive been tempted to quite ore than once! ;)

  2. Aww... thanks :) I'm buying a wide-angle lens soon. I'm lucky I get to travel for work, so the photo hunts are easier. Don't get discouraged. I've been there right around where you are, and then again in the winter, but now that I'm almost done, I look back at all of the pictures I've taken, and I'm glad I stuck it out. This project also made me look up different activities to do, places and events to see in my neighborhood or NYC that I otherwise wouldn't have checked out. Ask people if they know of any cool places to photograph (i.e. an abandoned farmhouse or bridges in a park?) and then do photoshoots with your friends to maybe get into portrait photography. I'm doing my first couple shoot in a month or so, and can't wait. It's all about thinking outside the box. So don't quit, your photography is so beautiful!
