Ice Cream in January

Photo 182: Needless to say, I'm craving new material... perhaps a new location, event or even a sunny, semi-warm day that makes me NOT want to hibernate. At least I got to devour some ice cream, which doesn't help my figure, but made me extremely happy, in a sugary kind of way.

I totally understand! It doesn't matter where you go, just go to a new place. It will do wonders for your photographic eye to see new things. BTW, that chocolate looks divine!

What's this blog about... really?

Not too long ago, I read about this great project called, "Project 365" (via an amazing photographer's blog), where it challenges you to take a photo a day for a whole year to document your life and the experiences you go through. This will be my step to embrace my passion, my viewpoint and grab life by it's... images.

The goal is to take one image each day of 1. something I did, 2. occassions that inspire me, 3. my many travel destinations, 4. anything about my life that draws me to capture it with a camera, or 5. people who surround me - friends, family, strangers.

It's definitely a challenge, but imagine looking back on your last year, and seeing how far you've progressed. As a sidenote, I'm not going to promise that I will actually post one image each day; but I am going try to post 7 a week for the entire year.

So, join me, and support me, love me and laugh with me, as I embrace my new venture...
