Indignation

Photo 233: When I was at the Chinese New Year parade a few weeks ago, small little gifts, candy and good luck beads were thrown into the crowd from the floats passing by. These little kids kept trying to grab more things and reaching over as far as they could to get at the presents. Unfortunately, the people handing out the gifts ran out of the cool stuff, and as you can see, there was some major indignation and disappointment to be seen on these little faces. I am happy to report though, that the frowns later turned upside down with balloons and candy.

A Sidewalk Festival is Always Fun

Photo 9-11: A sidewalk festival to me is food, food, more food and some awesome gadgets you don't get anywhere else. It's usually yummy bbq, shish kabobs, hummus plates and all other fried food that is so bad for you, but yet so good. Here's one of the first fairs I've been to this summer.
