Go Phillies

Photo 360 - 361: I drove down to Reading this weekend to spend time with the Fam for Father's Day and went to see the Reading Phillies play a hometown game. They won in the last inning (yeah!) and we got to see some of the prettiest fireworks I've ever seen. Pedro was of course by my side (MINUS a tripod), so I balanced him on a contraption made up of my purse, two stadium seats and a soda cup... for a tripod. Go figure. Here's what I captured, that's the best I could do due to the circumstances I've found myself in AGAIN...

Iconic Baseball Shots

Photo 228-232: While I was away last week, I decided to take some iconic shots around the baseball fields, and here's what I came up with. I promise it's the last batch of baseball-related shots. I'm away again for work, this time in New Orleans, and Pedro is getting tired, or at least I am of taking pictures. YES! You heard it, I'm pictured out, but have some great material for later posts.

Name that Player

Photo 224-227: Here are some of the MLB players I was surrounded with all day, and was harassing with Pedro. I have over 350 pcitures, so it was a bit hard to pick my favorite shots, but here are four I love, some portraying how to swing, batter, pick up and even stretch. lol

Baseball's Mini Fans

Photo 222-223: I'm off again to go down to New Orleans for work, throwing in two days worth of girlie time with my friend Caroline, and some good old NOLA cookin', drinkin' and sight seeing. But before I leave at the crack of dawn I wanted to share these two images. I stalked some children at various baseball fields across Arizona and Florida, getting permission from the parents to photograph them of course, but needless to say I couldn't help myself anyway. They are such cute little fans, and never fail to surprise you with their forthcoming and often hilarious statements and actions. These two definitely lived up to the term "lively" and "rambunctious".

Rain or more rain?

Photo 3: Ok, so the rain is putting a damper on my picture-taking ambitions, but here's one that illustrates no matter what a die-hard fan won't give up, and just brings a huge golf umbrella. Anyone moving to Seattle with me?
