What's in a reflection?

Photo 38-40: I took Pedro with me one morning this week on my way to work. It was right after yet another huge rainstorm, and everything looked so clean and clear. The sun was coming out, it was the perfect temperature, and the traffic was just starting to pick up. There really is something refreshing after a rain storm... even in BK. lol Hope you enjoy them. I'm off to the High Line today! Can't wait to see what I can capture there... I'll try to stalk some people this time! If you're interested in going, check out their site. It looks amazing!

Rain or more rain?

Photo 3: Ok, so the rain is putting a damper on my picture-taking ambitions, but here's one that illustrates no matter what a die-hard fan won't give up, and just brings a huge golf umbrella. Anyone moving to Seattle with me?

Here comes the sun...

Photo 1: I am starting out with a photo of me on Ipanema Beach in Brazil!.... and a separate photo of the beautiful, rain-covered Ipanema beach behind me. This is one of my favorite places on earth filled with a passion for life that fills the soul, a craving for music that seeps into every word and movement and of course... caipirinhas. What else do you need?

And here is the same image (minus me) of the amazing thunderstorm moving in and over the beach. The thunderstorm didn't seem to drive anyone to relative safety and shelter (as you can see), but just made beach goers scramble a bit tighter under their bright umbrellas. Nothing and no one was going to interrupt a day of celebration in Rio de Janeiro.
